Content
- The course consists of two semestral cycles. During the first one, students are acquainted with the history of Greek language in the earliest periods, with particular emphasis on Mycenean Greek and the language od Homeric epic poems.
- In the second semester, the course focuses on the adoption of writing system, on the origins of the alphabet, on the diversification of spoken dialects and on literary dialects in archaic and classical period.
