About ICCPR

The International Conference on Cultural Policy Research (ICCPR) is the largest and most prestigious conference bringing together researchers in the broad field of cultural policy from around the world. The conference, held every two years, is attended by more than 350 scholars. Past editions have been held in: Bergen (1999), Wellington, New Zealand (2002), Montreal (2004), Vienna (2006), Istanbul (2008), Jyväskylä, Finland (2010), Barcelona (2012), Hildesheim (2014), Seoul (2016), Tallinn (2018), Kyoto (2021), Antwerp (2022).

ICCPR2024 will be hosted by the University of Warsaw (Faculty of Political Science and International Studies).

ICCPR, together with its esteemed scientific journal (International Journal of Cultural Policy), is highly interdisciplinary and brings together theorists from around the globe and from the most diverse scientific disciplines (sociologists, historians, political scientists, cultural scientists, linguists, economists, etc.). In addition, they play an important role in the debate of practitioners who co-create cultural institutions around the world daily. The scientific community created by the ICCPR provides a platform for the exchange of thoughts and ideas, as well as practical experience.
